If you have an upcoming Riparide booking and you are concerned about your safety as a result of potential bushfires*, you are encouraged to communicate with the host and express your concerns.
If the risks are too great, your host will cancel the booking and provide a full refund.
If you have an upcoming Riparide booking during bushfire season it is your responsibility to be aware of local conditions before you travel as well as during your stay.

If a 'Code Red’ or ‘Catastrophic’ Fire Danger Rating has been issued for the area where your booking accommodation is located, or for an area that you must travel through to reach your accomodation, your host will need to cancel the booking and provide a full refund. If a ‘Watch and Act’ or ‘Emergency Warning' has been issued for the area where the accommodation is located you are advised not to travel and a full refund will be issued. Be aware what the warnings are and what they mean here. Bushfire Warnings.
If you are concerned about your safety as a result of bushfire activity, you are encouraged to communicate with the host and express your concerns. If you are within the cancellation period, you’ll need to wait until 2 days before your booking start date to assess conditions, as they are subject to change. Refunds under this ‘bushfire policy’ will not be issued until 2 days prior to the booking start date, unless your host offers to do so before this time.
